Write on the Walls · 27 October 2026 – 27 November 2026
Seller: Artem Hnap, a private individual trading as temmkainc, ul. Jana Kazimierza 64A, 01-248 Warszawa, Poland. Contact: business@temmkainc.com
1. Who can take part
1.1. You must be at least 16 years old. If you are under 18, you need permission from a parent or legal guardian, who must agree to these rules and to the payment.
1.2. One person may submit several entries while slots remain.
2. What you are buying
2.1. You are paying for us to review your phrase or graffiti sketch (“Entry”) and, if approved, to add it to the world of the video game Read of Mask (the “Game”).
2.2. An Entry is not an in-game item, does not unlock anything in your copy of the Game and is not a purchase made on Steam. Valve and Steam are not involved in this event.
2.3. This event has 50 slots: 30 phrase slots and 20 graffiti slots. A phrase pack uses 3 phrase slots. A slot is reserved for you when you check out and released if your Entry is rejected or the hold expires.
3. Prices and payment
3.1. Prices: short phrase (up to 20 characters) $2; long phrase (up to 40 characters) $3; pack of 3 short phrases $4; graffiti sketch $5announced when the event opens. Prices are in US dollars and are final. The Seller is exempt from VAT under art. 113(1) of the Polish VAT Act, so no VAT is added. Your bank may charge its own currency conversion fee.
3.2. Card hold. At checkout we only authorise (hold) the amount on your card. We charge it only if we approve your Entry.
3.3. If we reject your Entry, or do not review it within 7 days, the hold is released and you are not charged.
3.4. Packs. If we approve only some phrases in a pack, we charge only for the approved phrases and release the rest.
3.5. Your bank decides how fast a released hold disappears from your statement, usually within a few days.
4. Content rules
4.1. Phrases: English letters A–Z and the punctuation . , ! ? ’ “ : ; only (no numbers), matching the game’s font. Short phrases up to 20 characters, long phrases up to 40, spaces included.
4.2. Graffiti sketches: drawn by you in our editor, in black, white and shades of gray. Uploads are not possible.
4.3. Entries must not contain or depict: hate speech, slurs, or attacks on people or groups based on who they are; harassment, threats or bullying; sexual content or nudity; graphic violence, self-harm, or anything that encourages them; drugs or other illegal activity; real people’s names, faces or personal information (including your own); political or religious messages or symbols, including extremist symbols; links, email addresses, social media handles or advertising; characters, logos, brands, lyrics or other material owned by someone else; content made with AI image or text generators; anything else that would break Steam’s content rules or that we consider unsuitable for the Game.
5. Review and our decision
5.1. We review every Entry by hand. Whether an Entry is approved is our decision alone. We don’t have to give a reason, though we usually will.
5.2. Resubmitting. If an Entry is rejected, you can submit one new Entry for the same slot while the event is open and your hold is still active.
5.3. We decide the lettering style, size, colour treatment, position and location of every approved Entry. We may make small changes so it fits the scene (for example fixing an obvious typo, scaling, cropping or weathering the graffiti), without changing its meaning.
6. Delivery
6.1. Within 14 days of approval we email you a screenshot of your Entry in the Game and a personal PDF supporter certificate, to the email address you gave when submitting your Entry.
6.2. The Game is in development. Screenshots show a development version and may look different from the released Game.
7. Your rights and the licence you give us
7.1. You confirm that your Entry is your own original work, that you have the right to submit it, and that it follows section 4.
7.2. You keep the copyright in your Entry. You give the Seller (temmkainc) a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual and irrevocable licence to use, reproduce, modify, display and distribute your Entry in the Game, its updates, sequels and ports, and in trailers, screenshots, store pages, social media and other promotion of the Game.
7.3. You will not be credited by name in the Game.
8. If the Game changes
8.1. Approved Entries are intended to stay in the Game at release.
8.2. If the location of your Entry is changed or removed during development, we move your Entry to a similar location. If that is impossible, we refund the full amount you paid.
8.3. If the Game is cancelled before release, we refund the full amount you paid.
9. Cancellation and refunds
9.1. You can cancel any time before we approve your Entry by emailing us; the hold is released.
9.2. After approval, payments are non-refundable, except as described in section 8 or where the law requires otherwise.
9.3. Consumers in the EU, UK and similar countries: you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase of digital services. At checkout you are asked to agree that we start work immediately and to confirm that you lose the right to withdraw once your Entry is approved and added to the Game.
9.4. If we later find that an approved Entry breaks section 4 (for example a hidden meaning we missed), we may remove it from the Game without a refund.
10. Your data
10.1. The data controller is the Seller named at the top of these rules.
10.2. We collect your email address, your first name (optional), your Entry and payment status. Card details are handled by our payment provider, Stripe, and never reach us.
10.3. We use this only to run the event: to review your Entry, process the payment, and send your screenshot and certificate.
10.4. We do not add you to our newsletter unless you tick the separate box at checkout.
10.5. We keep event records for 5 years from the end of the year in which the payment was made for accounting, then delete them. You can ask for your data to be deleted at business@temmkainc.com (we may keep payment records the law requires). You can also complain to the Polish data protection authority (UODO) or the one in your country.
11. Other
11.1. We may change these rules for future events; the rules shown when you checked out apply to your Entry.
11.2. These rules are governed by Polish law. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live.
11.3. Questions: business@temmkainc.com.
